Although the case of the missing Log Cabin barn quilt sounds like the next book in the long loved ‘Nancy Drew’ mystery series the real reason that the Log Cabin barn quilt is missing from the Thomas Tree Farm barn on route 30 in Manchester is much less mysterious.
One of the purposes of the barn quilt trail is to help highlight and preserve Carroll’s rural heritage and that includes the historic and aged barns that many of the quilts are placed on. The Thomas Tree Farm barn is undergoing renovations at this time and the Log Cabin quilt is safely stored away until the renovations are complete. We’ll be sure to let you know as soon as the quilt square is remounted or if the quilt is re-homed to another location. Thank you for your patience!
