Two New MARBIDCO Ag Grants Open

Maryland Agricultural & Resource-Based Industry Development Corporation (MARBIDCO) has opened two grants for farmers/ranchers in our area:

Maryland Livestock Processing Equipment Grant: Provides a 50% matching grant to expand livestock and blue catfish processing. Funds to be used for livestock processing equipment and/or upgrade facilities. Grants of $20,000-$50,000. Deadline to apply is October 24, 2025. Wood Products Industry Equity Incentive Grant Program (WPIEI): Provides a 25% matching grant of $125,000 to a wood fiber harvester, processor or manufacturer to purchase equipment and or construct facilities, with a n emphasis on value-added production and job creation.
